The following table describes the attribute ID 2 "Interface Flags":
0 Link Status Connection of the interface to an active network:
0 = Inactive connection
1 Half/Full Duplex Indicates the current duplex mode:
0 = Half duplex
2 ... 4 Negotiation Status 0 = Autonegotiation in progress
1 = Autonegotiation and speed detection failed. Default values are used for
speed and duplex.
2 = Autonegotiation failed, but speed detected. The default value is used for
duplex.
3 = Speed and duplex successfully set automatically.
4 = Autonegotiation is not attempted. Defined speed and duplex.
5 Manual Setting Requires Reset 0 = Changes to the attribute "Interface Control" are accepted without restarting
the device.
1 = Changes to the attribute "Interface Control" are not accepted until the device
6 Local Hardware Fault 0 = Interface does not detect a local hardware fault
1 = Interface detects a local hardware fault
The following table describes the "Speed/Duplex Options" of the attribute ID 11 "Interface
Capability":
USINT Speed/Duplex Array Count Speed/duplex data area: Number of elements
ARRAY of STRUCT of
• UINT
• USINT
Speed/Duplex Array
• Interface Speed
• Interface Duplex Mode
Speed/duplex data area:
• Speed in Mbps at which the interface is to
be operated (only if autonegotiation is
deactivated).
• Duplex mode of the interface:
0 = Half duplex
1 = Full duplex
