7.1.2 Status and error displays
"DIAG" LED
State
Meaning
Lights up green
There is an EtherNet/IP connection between the 3RW5 communication
module and the controller.
Flashes green
Standby:
• The 3RW5 soft starter is not configured.
• The 3RW5 communication module is not parameterized.
Lights up red
• Irreversible error
• Error can only be acknowledged by switching the control supply voltage
off and on again.
Flashes red
• Reversible error (e.g. loss of the IP address due to an address conflict)
• Firmware update
Off
No supply voltage available.
"BUS" LED
State
Meaning
Lights up green
At least one CIP connection and no timeout of the exclusive owner
connection.
Flashes green
• An IP address is configured.
• No CIP connection
Lights up red
• IP address conflict
• Firmware update
Flashes red
Timeout of an exclusive owner connection:
• Control was stopped without connection termination.
• Interruption of the Ethernet communication.
Off
• Device has not yet received an IP address.
• No supply voltage available.
