2.1.2 Buffer modules
2.1.2.1 SITOP BUF1200
The buffer module SITOP BUF1200 buffers brief power failures in the seconds range and can
be used with all SITOP smart and SITOP modular 24 V power supplies. The buffer module uses
maintenance-free capacitors as energy storage devices and automatically supplies 24 V in the
event that the power supply voltage fails.
The buffer module is simply connected in parallel to the power supply output.
Several buffer modules can be connected in parallel to extend the buffer time.
