9.3.4 Setpoints
The following applies to controller 2, basic type A, and controllers 1+2, basic type
U:
Preselections
• You can assign individual setpoints for the Comfort and Economy modes.
• We distinguish between the following setpoints:
– SET MIN lower setpoint "Heating" (sequence 1+2)
– SET MAX upper setpoint "Cooling" (sequence 4+5)

When you leave the commissioning menu, the universal controller checks whether
a main sensor is connected.
Main sensor present?
• If, at that time, the main sensor is connected, but is missing later, or if there is a
short-circuit in the cable, a sensor error message is delivered and shown on the
display:
– "Xx ---" => main sensor missing
– "Xx ooo" => short-circuit
• If, at that time, there is no main sensor (main controlled variable in this case),
the plant will be shut down (MAINALM)
