SCP 111 S-DIAS SAFETY CPU MODULE
Page 58 04.11.2020
The other safe signals can be used at will, but it must be noted that the individual signals
have the same meaning for the connected machine parts. If, for example, host Safe_Input1
has the meaning of an emergency stop, all connected nodes must have connected an
emergency stop to their Safe_Output1 accordingly. However, the hardware of the individual
nodes can differ depending on the requirements as long as the corresponding meaning of
the individual signals in the communication structure corresponds.
Due to the requirements of the machine standard, it must be possible to distinguish between
active and inactive emergency-stop switches. It is therefore recommended to use illuminated
emergency stops, which always light up when a safe connection to the host exists or when
the emergency stop is active.
A window can be opened via the following menu item in order to set the times to be monitored
for firmware run (1) and transmission (2).
