Sewing applications

1. Before sewing, please check the upper and lower threads
are already pulled out about 5 cm to leave enough room
for sewing. Please refer to "Bringing up the lower thread "
chapter for more information.
2. Set the thread tension below 2. Sew a single row (or many
rows) of straight stitches.
3. Pull the lower threads (1) and distribute the gathers evenly.
Secure the threads at the other end.

To sew the satin or decorative stitch, you may adjust the length
and width of the stitch. Experiment with fabric scraps until you get
the desired length and width.

Use the satin stitch foot for satin stitching and sewing deco-
rative stitches.
When sewing very lightweight fabrics, it is recommended
that you use interfacing or stabilizer on the back side of the
fabric.
Satin stitch foot has a groove on the underside which allows
dense stitching to pass freely underneath.
Insert the satin stitch foot (e).
Use the all-purpose presser foot (a).
