Listen to What is
Being Played Using
the Local Speaker
Press the button labeled "Local Speaker" to hear what is being played at that time. The LED asso-
ciated with this button illuminates when the button is pressed to indicate the function is active.
Note:
If the user picks up the local phone or keys the microphone while the local speaker is
active, the speaker shuts off to prevent feedback. The local speaker turns back on when
the page is complete.
Silencing the Audio
System
Press the Alarm Silence button on the front panel to silence the audio system. When you do this,
the speakers remain on, but play nothing.
Resetting the Audio
System
Press the System Reset button to reset the audio system. When you do this, the following occurs.
All speakers and associated LEDs turn OFF.
The local speaker turns off.
Any paging that is in progress is canceled.
