9. Insert the end of the thread through the eye of
the needle from front to back or use the needle
threader to thread the needle. (See next page
for needle threader instructions.)
10.Place the thread under the foot and pull out
approximately 15 cm (6 inches) of thread to
the back of the machine.

8. Pass the thread behind the flat, horizontal
thread guide and then through the thread
guide above the needle.
