The
Autopurge
screen is displayed on the touchscreen.
Setting the instrument purge time and starting the autopurge function
The purge time of the instruments may be set between 60 and 180
seconds.
✔ The
Autopurge
screen is displayed on the touchscreen.
1. Use the – and + keys to set the purge time.
2. Touch the
Start
key.
Error message: Adding water (with self-sufficient water supply only)
If the display
Add water
appears after the autopurge function starts, there
is not enough water in the reservoir of the water unit to purge the water
lines. The autopurge function cannot be started if there is not enough
water.
➢ Mixing distilled water with the DENTOSEPT P disinfectant in a 100:1
ratio (1 liter of water, 10 ml DENTOSEPT P) and fill this into the
disinfectant tank of the water unit. For more information, please refer
to the section titled "Self-sufficient water supply" [ → 135].
As soon as a sufficient amount of water has been added, the
autopurge program continues.
Error message: Depositing instruments
If the
Depositing instruments
display appears after the autopurge function
has been started, the treatment center has detected that not all of the
instruments have been placed in their holders.
➢ Check the instruments marked with a warning triangle on the
touchscreen.
When all of the instruments have been deposited, the autopurge
program continues.
Inserting water-carrying instruments into the receptacle on the water
unit
The water unit has integrated receptacles for water-carrying instruments
and suction hoses. These enable the purging of all instruments with
water. For this purpose, water-carrying instruments must be inserted into
receptacles on the water unit.
