b) The immersion part of the probe should not exceed the orientation mark at the
probe housing side;
c) Do not process the probe with steam high-pressure or ethane oxide;
d) Do not immerse the probe for more than one hour.
4.2.9.1 Cleaning
a) Clean the probe surface with soft cloth soaked with water after using the probe;
b) If the probe is dirty, use soft cloth soaked with cleanser (e.g. neutral soapsuds) to
clean it, and then use soft cloth soaked with water to remove the soapsuds;
c) After cleaning, wipe the probe with clean soft dry cloth.
4.2.9.2 Sterilization
a) The probe should be sterilized with special liquid disinfectant. It is recommended
to use Glutaral solution or Benzalkonium Bromide solution. The disinfectant
solution should be formulated and used following their manufacturers’ product
instruction;
b) After sterilization, remove the disinfectant solution on the probe thoroughly with
sterile water, and then wipe the probe with soft dry cloth.
