Predefined annotations for orthopedics are: THIGHBONE HEAD, HIPBONE and
ACETABULUM.
Predefined annotations for Podiatry are: LEFT, RIGHT, LONG, TRV, PLANTAR, FASCIA,
ACHILLES TENDON, PT TENDON, TENDON, NEUROMA, CALCANEUS, INJECTION.
7.3 Body Mark
Body marks are a group of pictorial diagrams of patient organs. They are used to indicate
the current exam parts. One movable and rotatable arrow is used to indicate position and
direction of the probe.
7.3.1 Function
Press BDYMK key to operate the body marks. After BDYMK is pressed, the body
mark select screen for the current application is displayed in the image area. Use the
trackball to select one of the body marks and press
Enter. The selected body mark will
be displayed on the lower right screen. Press BDYMK again to clear the body mark.
In addition, a probe mark with an arrow is displayed at the same time of body mark
display. Use the trackball to move the probe mark, and turn the
Value knob to change
the angle of the probe mark.
The operation of body mark may work in frozen or unfrozen state. To enter body mark
operation from other control object, press
T-Ball key.
7.3.2 Format
Only one body mark can be displayed on one image element and on every image
element of B/B or 4B. The position of body mark is fixed on the lower right screen, and
only the body mark of the current active mode is displayed.
7.3.3 Application
Type of system predefined body mark changes in accordance with different application.
