Keypad Operation
Some companies use the KEYPAD to identify the drivers in events. The keypad allows drivers to
enter their driver ID code. It is very important that drivers enter their keypad entry code every time
they begin their shift or switch vehicles during their shift. The keypad entry code provides accurate
identification of each driver, ensuring that they receive accurate guidance and/or accolades due to
them.
Create a manual event using the Keypad
1. Press the manual event button on the keypad.
2. If connected correctly, the keypad display will read Panic. If this does not occur,
check the keypad cable for damage and ensure the keypad is plugged into the Keypad
Port of the controller.
3. The Target LED on the Sensor Bar will blink Blue indicating a manual event has been triggered.
4. The Target LED on the Sensor Bar will illuminate solid Blue once the event is finished recording.
This indicates an event is saved and awaiting offload.
