Sonim XP5 device does not support Playstore. The App
Updates is a standalone application which is capable to
update itself and other applications like PTT.
1. From the Home screen, select Menu ( ) key >
OK to view all the applications.
2. From Applications ( ) menu, select App
Updates ( ).
3. Select Check for Updates to check for the updates,
if available, it downloads and install the updates.
The system starts checking for the updates and
download the updates.
Settings
To modify a network,
1. From App Updates homescreen, select the Options
( ) key.
2. Select Settings from the Options menu and press
OK.
3. The following settings are displayed:
• Check for updates on device start up: If this
option is selected, Check for updates will
happen on device power ON.
• Check for updates over Mobile Data: If this
option is selected, Check for updates will use
mobile data if Wi-Fi is unavailable.
