3. Go to Internet Connection Settings, pick yes when asked if you want to continue
4. Pick if you are wired or wireless, press right
5. Pick custom Address Settings, press right
6. Auto-Detect the operation mode of the network device, press right
7. Ip Address Setting pick manual, press right
8. Settings on this page should look like this:
■ IP Address: 192.168.1.11 (or whatever IP you prefer)
■ Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
■ Default Router: 192.168.1.1 (depending on your router/gateway you entered on
your pc)
■ DNS: 192.168.1.1
■ DNS2: Doesn't matter leave it 0.0.0.0
■ Press right
9. Pick auto MTU, press right
10. Pick Proxy Use, press right
11. Enter 192.168.1.13 (the ip of your computer and leave the port at 8080) Press Right

12. Pick UpNp enabled (doesn't matter much)
13. Confirm settings
14. Don't test, and go back to the normal PS3 Menu (a.k.a. XMB)
