11. Stream content from your PC
❍ Enable the Media Server Connection from the Network in Options, then enable Media
Sharing from the Library in Windows Media Player on your PC. Search for a media server
from your PS3's Photo, Video or Music menus. Your PS3 should appear as an Unknown
device in the Media Player settings window.
12. Share your prowess
❍ Transfer your game saves between multiple accounts by going into Game on the XMB,
then picking Saved data utility. Select the save you want and press Triangle to bring up a
menu that'll let you copy it across. Easy.
13. Enable ATRAC files
❍ Go to your Settings menu and select Enable ATRAC to let PS3 play files in this format.
You'll need to do this to hook up your PS3 to ATRAC-format MP3 players.
14. Change your operating system
❍ If you're feeling a bit techy and don't mind messing about with your PS3's workings, you
can try installing semi-approved open-source OS Linux.
15. Help to cure cancer
❍ Folding@Home lets you lend processing power to Stanford University's analysis of protein
strings, and PS3 owners contribute 700 Teraflops of raw calculating juice at a time to their
research.
16. Show off your replays
❍ Take your game saves around to a friend's by adding the folder PS3>SAVEDATA to any
storage device, including phones or iPods. Now it's simple to cart your game saves from
one PS3 to another without having to worry. Isn't life grand?
