7.9 Replacing the standardizing or re-profiling samples
(LAVM12)
When the standardization/re-profiling samples are almost used up, replacements
must be provided.
The new standardization/re-profiling samples have a configuration that is different
than the original samples. The intensities of the new samples must be matched to
those of the old samples.
Note
Do not throw away the old standardization/re-profiling samples before you have
matched the intensities. Matching is not possible without using the old samples.
7.10 Replacing the iCALization sample (LACM12
When the ICALisation sample is almost used up, you have to procure a
replacement.
The new ICALisation sample has a composition which is different from that of the
original sample. The intensities of the new sample must be matched to that of the
old sample.
