Insufficient intensity. 1. Check argon.
2. Clean spark stand,
adjust electrode.
3. Clean the light inlet
window.
4. Profile instrument,
standardize again (check
sequence of
standardization
samples).
Call service if required
During standardization,
factors < 0.5 are shown in
red
or
The maximum limit of the
typical measurement value
of a matrix-depending
reference channel has been
exceeded, e.g.: Fe 273nm.
Intensities too high. 1. Check excitation
parameters.
Call service if required
Limit values are not
maintained during re-
profiling.
Insufficient intensity. 1. Check argon.
2. Clean spark stand,
adjust electrode.
3. Clean the light inlet
window.
4. Re-profile instrument
again and, if necessary,
contact the Service
Department.
