There are a variety of hemoglobin controls on the market today.
Stanbio only recommends the use of the HemoPoint
®
H2
Hemoglobin Controls, since we cannot guarantee the
compatibility of other brands of controls on the HemoPoint
®
H2
system.
Thoroughly mix the controls before use (see the control package
insert for directions).
Compare the values obtained with the controls against the stated
reference values. If the Hgb result falls outside the range of the
controls, there is evidently a problem. Please consult Section 7
“Troubleshooting” in this regard.
