For cleaning the optical unit the use of a special HemoPoint
®
H2
optics cleaner is recommended. The Optics Cleaner can be
obtained through an authorized Stanbio distributor. Please follow
the instructions for use that can be found in the package insert
that comes with the Cleaner or go online to www.stanbio.com

Cleaning the optical unit is a delicate operation inside the
instrument. Please do not use any cleaning agents other than
original Stanbio Optics Cleaner.
6.1.4 Power adaptor
Care! Danger of fatal electric shock!
It is essential to follow the instructions in Section 1.3 “Safety
notes”. Disconnect the power adaptor from the electrical
connection before proceeding.
The power adaptor can be cleaned and disinfected in the same
way as the instrument housing (see Section 6.1.1 “Housing and
touchscreen”).
6.2 Charging and care of the battery
The HemoPoint
®
H2 photometer is equipped with a NiMH (Nickel
M
etal Hydride) battery. The capacity of the battery is calculated
on the basis of being sufficient for 100 hours of measuring
