To continue using the tool in unmaintained condition will permanently damage your tool.
NOTICE
Develop a periodic maintenance schedule for your tool. When cleaning a tool, be careful not to disassemble
any portion of the tool since internal wires may be misplaced or pinched or safety guard return springs may
be improperly mounted. Certain cleaning agents such as gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, ammonia, etc. may
damage the surface.
NOTICE
Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Please only use this machine according to its intended use. If the machine is not used as intended, there is
a risk for personal and of material damages!

When using accessories please always make sure to have the additional operating instructions of the corre-
sponding products and check, if the parts are compatible to the STEPCRAFT CNC system and to the control
before using them for the rst time.
NOTICE
The operator is solely responsible for understanding and reading the machine user guide and all relevant
operating instructions in their entirety, as well as for the storage of these documents in immediate vicinity
of the machine. The manufacturer’s instructions concerning the CNC machine and the tools, such as the
milling motor, are to be adhered to.

The CNC gantry milling system is only to be used in a technically perfect condition which is to be ensured
prior to each operation.

Maintain the power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other conditions that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

Preventive maintenance performed by unauthorized persons can result in serious hazardous situations. We
recommend having all maintenance work performed by a STEPCRAFT service facility.
