5. Feed the hose of the chemical pickup into the chemical bottle. Make sure the hose
reaches the bottom of the bottle.
6. Close the door of the chemical enclosure.
7. The chemical pump must now be primed to prevent chemical cross-contamination.

4.5 Priming the Chemical Pump
Priming the chemical pump prevents cross- contamination when changing chemical
bottles, and ensures the correct dosage of chemical is delivered into the tank when
demanded.
The chemical pump should be primed in the following situations:
l Before the first wash cycle using the sonic irrigator.
l Every time the chemical bottle is changed.
l If the chemical pickup is removed from chemical bottle for any reason.
Note: Chemical pickup must be fully inserted in a full chemical bottle before
attempting to prime the chemical pump.
