8. Place the instrument with distal connector and luer hose into the basket. Distribute
instruments evenly around the basket. Make sure instrument does not poke
through the basket or point upwards.
9. Attach the luer hose to a basket flush port. Always attach the luer hose to the top-
most available flush port. Push the connector of the luer hose into the port until the
retaining clip clicks to hold the hose in position. Pull lightly on the hose to make sure
connection is secure.
10. The instrument is now loaded. Proceed with loading other types of instrument, and
then basket docking.
