4. On the instrument body, identify the main flush port. The main flush port usually has
the da Vinci flush port symbol and the number 1 next to it, and a dark ring
around the port. Push the luer elbow into the main flush port until it remains in
place.
5. Put the instrument into the basket. Make sure the instrument tip does not protrude
through the basket.
