WARNING — Burn hazard
l Since temperatures within the equipment can reach +60 °C (+140 °F)
during and after operation, take care when opening the lid at the end of a
wash cycle.
l Allow sufficient time for items to cool before handling, cleaning, or
commencing maintenance procedures.
l When removing the basket from a full tank of hot water, make sure that
gloves are suitably rated for thermal protection. Alternatively, wait until
the water temperature is below a safe limit for the PPE used.
4. Wearing gloves suitably rated for thermal protection, remove the basket from the
full tank of fluids and move to an unloading area away from the sonic irrigator.

6. Load the basket with instruments to be processed in the next rewash cycle. See
Using the Instrument Basket
on page31.
7. Slowly put the loaded basket into the tank full of fluids. Be careful of hot water
splashes.
8. Touch OK on the display to confirm the loading of instruments.
9. The next rewash cycle starts immediately.
