9.8 Replacing the Fuse
The fuse may be defective and is in need of replacement if
the device is connected with the power supply, the green power LED of the
pump unit is not illuminated after pressing the ON/OFF switch ( I ) and the
device does not initialize or perform a device test,
the device does not function.
Check to make sure
the main power supply cable is properly connected to the non-heating device
plug and a grounded safety socket,
whether the house power supply fuse is functioning.
Unplug the power cable from the device before checking the fuse.
9.8.1 How to Replace the Fuse
The device does not have to be opened to replace the fuse.
1. Switch device off.
2. Disconnect device from power supply.
3. Remove power cable from device plug (2).
4. The fuse holder (3) is located right next to the non-heating device plug.
Remove fuse holder as depicted in Fig. 9-1 Opening the fuse holder, page 37.
5. Check the condition and values of the installed / to be installed fuse (4)
according to chapter 12 Technical Data, page 43.
6. Follow these steps in reverse for assembly. The fuse holder has to clearly snap
into place when installing and has to be aligned flush with the non-heating
device plug.
7. Use the mains power cable to reconnect the shockproof socket with the
non-heating device plug.
