Signals Error and Cause Solution / Device Response
• Acoustic alarm, 3x short • Pressure chamber of tube set not
properly positioned.
• Check position of pressure chamber.
• Listen for audible click indicating
correct fit of tube set pressure
chamber.
• Acoustic alarm for duration of
exceeding pressure parameter
• Actual pressure display flashes
• Nominal pressure has been
exceeded->Actual pressure has
exceeded permissible tolerance value
of 10 mm Hg for longer than 5 seconds.
• The electronics of the pump unit
automatically reduces the pressure
by reversing the pump motor. The
duration of the reverse movement of
the roller wheel is limited to 9
seconds. Electronic control system
automatically turns off the pump
motor. Pressure must be externally
reduced. Once pressure value falls
bellow the nominal pressure, pump
motor turns on again.
• Actual pressure display flashes
• No acoustic alarm
• Overpressure alarm 150 mm Hg,
Device maximal pressure 150 mm Hg
has been reached. Actual pressure
equals or exceeds 150 mm Hg.
•None
• Acoustic alarm, 1x long • A safety threshold message is
displayed starting at 100 mm Hg.
• Release the ▲ key for one second to
set values between 100 to 150 mm
Hg. Use the same key subsequently
to set the pressure up to 150 mm Hg.
• Acoustic alarm for duration of
exceeding pressure parameter
• Actual pressure display flashes
• Icon for overpressure is lit.
• Overpressure alarm 200 mm Hg
• Actual pressure equaled or exceeded
200 mm Hg for longer than 5 seconds.
• Electronic control system of pump
unit automatically turns off the
pump motor and turns it back on
once value falls below 200 mm Hg.
• Acoustic alarm, 3x short
• Deficit value flashes
• The deficit threshold set by the
operator has been reached.
•None
• Acoustic alarm, 3x short
• Deficit value flashes
• Alarm indicates value is 100 ml
above the deficit threshold;
additional increase of the deficit
after exceeding the deficit threshold
every 100 ml.
•None
• Acoustic alarm, 3x short
• Deficit value flashes
• Deficit rate icon is lit
• Acoustic alarm 5x short, rapid
• Deficit rate alarm
• The fluid deficit is equal or greater
than 300 ml/min.
•None
• Acoustic alarm 5x short, rapid
• ID flashes in the actual pressure
display for 5 seconds
• Instrument detection has failed.
• Pressure values during the instrument
detection are not plausible.
• Automatic stop and switching back
of the device to the irrigation
pressure display.
• To pump fluid, press the Start/Stop
key again or repeat the instrument
detection sequence as described in
chapter 5.10 Instrument Detection,
page 25.
• Acoustic alarm 2x long
• SCALE flashes in the actual pressure
display for 5 seconds
• Scale overloaded, the load capacity
value of 42 kg was exceeded for 30 s.
• Remove load from weighing unit
• The overload counter in the device is
set.
