5.11 PLC Communication Connection
With a PLC communication module built inside, the inverter can communicate with the Data
Logger provided by SUNGROW. For specific wiring method, refer to the user manual for the
data logger.
The maximum PLC communication distance from the box-type substation to the inverter is:
• If there is one cable per phase, with single-core cable, the maximum communication dis-
tance is 800 m. Bind three-phase cables with cable ties every 1m.
• If there are two cables per phase, with single-core cable, the maximum communication
distance is 800 m. Bind three-phase cables with cable ties every 1m. The distance be-
tween two bundles of AC cables should be more than 15 cm. The length of the two AC
cables should be the same. If not, the length difference must be smaller than 2m.
