• Remove the pin

• Remove the oil pump

PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR
• Flatten the lock washer of the primary drive gear nut.
• Remove the primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut with
the special tool.
& 09930-40113: Rotor holder

• Remove the oil pump drive gear
3 and primary drive gear 4.
• Remove the key
5.
• Remove the snap ring
6, washer 7 and kick starter idle gear
8.
& 09900-06107: Snap ring pliers
Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump assembly.
The primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut has
left-hand threads.
