7.2.1 Removing a driver in Windows XP
If the Spectrum24 adapter was installed in the computer before the driver
installation CD was inserted (if used) or the setup.exe was launched (Web
download installations), the user is required to remove the driver from the
system and begin the installation over.
To remove a driver from the system in Windows XP:
1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
2. Select the Switch to Classic View Windows XP option.
3. Select System and click on the Hardware tab.
4. Click the Device Manager button.
5. Select Network Adapters.
A list of the devices currently supported on the system by Windows XP
displays.
6. Right-click on the Spectrum24 Wireless LAN PC Card and select
Uninstall.
7. Proceed to 7.1 Installing the Spectrum24 Driver in Windows XP on page
34 and reinstall the driver.
