Analyser Components
Outside the Analyser
1. Stain table – Cover provides access to stain table and internal components. Cover is
LOCKED while analyzer in use.
2. Smear Table – Cover provides access to stain table and internal components. Cover is
LOCKED while analyzer in use.
3. Storage table – Holds cassettes containing stain slides or blank cassettes. Holds up to 100
cassettes
4. Main power switch – Turns main power ON/OFF
5. Barcode reader and cap piercer – Samples run in sampler mode have their barcodes
read and are then aspirated by the cap piercer.
6. Supply table – Holds empty dry cassettes. Slides prepared manually can be placed in the
second cassette on supply table for staining only. Holds up to 100 cassettes
7. Start-up switch - Starts analyzer up following maintenance
8. LCD Screen – User interface. Used to perform a variety of operation including manual
smear and/or stain, maintenance, shutdown etc.
9. Sampler unit – Racks are placed on the right hand side and once processed exit on the
left hand side.
