Using a function key
■ Press the assigned function key to turn keypad lock on.

■ Long press to turn keypad lock off.
Locking the PTT key
The PTT lock feature prevents your from pressing the PTT key
accidentally. While PTT lock is active, you are still able to make
calls using , if your radio is programmed to allow this.
To turn PTT lock off and on:
1 Long press to enter menu mode.
2 Select
USER SETTINGS>PTTLOCK.
3 Short press to turn keypad lock off or on.
4 Short press twice to exit menu mode.
