Making a preset call
The preset calls programmed for your radio may be to other radios,
to PABX extensions or to PSTN numbers. To make a preset call
from your radio, you may be able to either:
use a programmed function key,
use the channel selector,
use the main menu, or
dial the preset call using the keypad
Preset calls can also be used to activate or deactivate a function,
temporarily subscribe your radio to a group, change to
conventional channels and change to a different trunking
network.
Using a function key
Press the assigned function key to make a preset call.
Using the channel selector
Each position of the channel selector can be programmed for a
preset call.
To make a preset call using the channel selector:
Change the channel selector to the required position and press
the PTT key or .
Dialing a preset call
This feature is available for radios with an alphanumeric keypad
only.
To make a dialled preset call:
Dial 0nn, where nn is the preset call number in two-digit
format. Press the PTT key, or .
For example, to send preset call 17,
dial 017, then press the PTT key,
