If
the
Battery Goes
Dead
Disconnecting the jumper cables
After the engine starts, disconnect the jumper
cables following the connection procedure
in
reverse
order.
1.
Disconnect the clip of jumper cable
(B)
from the problem machine's engine
block.
2.
Disconnect the other clip of jumper cable
(B)
from the rescue vehicle's negative (-)
terminal.
3.
Disconnect the clip
of
jumper cable
(R)
from the rescue vehicle's positive
(+)
terminal.
4. Disconnect the other clip of jumper cable
(R)
from the problem machine's positive
(+)terminal.
Recharging
As necessary, have a Takeuchi dealer
recharge any dead batteries.

After the Fuel Runs
Out
Bleeding the Air from the Fuel
System
IMPORTANT: NEVER use the starter
motor to crank the engine
in
order to
prime the fuel system. This may cause
the starter motor to overheat
and
damage
the coils,
pinion
and I or
ring
gear.
1.
Add fuel.
2.
Open the water separator valve
(2).

3.
Turn
the ignition key to the
ON
position and
hold it there for about 10 to 15 seconds.
The automatic air bleeder bleeds the air
from the fuel system.
4. Start the engine and inspect for
fuel
leakage.
Note: Air
in
the fuel system can make it
difficult to start the engine and cause engine
problems. Also bleed the air when the fuel
tank
is
emptied.
