Precautions on Safety
A.
WARNING
Follow all safety precautions and warnings found in the machine operator's
manual.
• Caution - Tilting
of
the cab enclosure requires the use
of
an overhead lifting
device
to
perform safely. Always secure the cab in the
up
position by
Inserting the
lock
pin and keeper
to
prevent
crushing
or
unexpected move-
ment.
• Cleaning
of
the coolers
should
be done with the engine stopped and the key
in the
off
position
to
prevent unexpected movement
of
the fans.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating
or
maintaining the machine.
• Keep appropriate size and type
of
fire
extinguisher
within
close
proximity
to
the
working
area at all times.
•
Know
how
to
use the fire extinguisher and have an emergency contact plan in
the event
of
an emergency.
• Inspect fire extinguishers
on
a regular basis
to
ensure they
will
function
properly.
