The Function Keys:
These keys are applications dependent
-
that is, their functions are
determined by the programmer who creates an applications program.
The purpose of these keys is to save you time. For example, with a
given applications program, you might be able to simply press one
of the function keys rather than have to type a full command. Refer
to
the manual provided with your applications program. See Appendix
A
for a discussion of how these keys are used with
DOS.
