REINSTALLING MS-DOS AND
DESKMATE ON THE HARD DRIVE
After formatting the hard disk, you can recreate a
DOS directory and recopy the MS-DOS and Desk-
Mate files to the hard drive. To do
so, use the fol-
lowing steps:
1. Place Disk 1 in Drive A and type:
a: ENTER
2. Then, to copy all the DOS files to the DOS direc-
tory, type:
hdins t ENTER
Wait for the DOS files to load to the hard disk.

3. Then at the A:\> prompt, install DeskMate by
install ENTER
4. Follow the instructions given by the installation
