ATP Operator Instructions
[Step 6]
Tape the joint between the new and old
paper. Attach tape on the front and rear
side. Turn the paper splicing board 90
degrees around to tape the back side.
* Attach the tape so that it covers the area
from the top edge to the bottom edge of
the paper. If the attachment at the lower
edge is inadequate, the sensor will not
detect the joint and the unit will not
operate satisfactorily.
[Step 7]
Remove the paper from the paper splicing panel and check that the paper is spliced.
[Step 8]
Push the packaging unit back into the ATP and close the front doors.
[Step 9]
Create test packages to check that the paper was installed correctly.
Close the front door and press the FEED button to perform test packaging. When one medication has
been packaged, check through the small window in the front door that it has been properly packaged. If
medications are correctly packaged, repeat the packaging test two or three times.
Open the front door to check that the packaging paper is properly fed by the transfer conveyor. If it is,
close the front door and press the "CUT" button and check that the packaging paper is ejected through
the paper exit. (It will take about 10 seconds for the packaging paper to reach the paper exit).
Note: Only use packaging paper purchased from TCGRx. Use of other paper may void the warranty or cause
machine failure.
Tape over the joint in the paper.
