Processing Alarm Messages
Alarm indication
Symptom/Cause
Remedy
Heater warming up Z
(Z is the letter of the alarm)
(1) The heater has not reached the set
temperature.
(2) The heater has burnt out.
(1) Wait until the set temperature
is reached and the alarm is
automatically cleared (about
10 minutes)
(2) Call for service if the heater
does not recover
TC alarm XXX
(XXX indicates a TC number.)
(1) The tablet case at the specified location is
empty, a pill is caught or some other
malfunction has occurred.
(1) Replenish pills, clear the
clogging pills or any other
problem and press the “Start”
button.
(2) Call for service if the heater
does not recover.
TC open Y
(Y is the TC drawer column
number)
(1) A TC drawer is open; dispensing is
suspended.
(1) Close the TC drawer and press
the “Start” button.
UTC refilling continuous
UTC refilling repeated
(1) UTC tray needs to be filled
(2) Operation in the 64 UTC cells stops.
1) Refill the UTC tray with pills,
close the tray and press the
“Start” button.
UTC tray alarm Z
(Z is the letter of the alarm)
(1) The UTC tray is open; dispensing is
suspended.
(2) The UTC tray cannot be pulled out.
(1) Close the UTC tray and press
the “Start” button.
(2) Call for service.
Ribbon alarm
(1) The unit has run out of ribbon.
(2) The ribbon broke midway.
(3) No ribbon has been loaded.
(1)Replace the ribbon or load it
correctly and press the “Start”
button.
Printer alarm Z
(Z is the letter of the alarm)
(1) The printer cover is open.
(2) The printer lock lever has not been properly
closed.
(3) The printer is malfunctioning.
(1)(2)Close the printer cover and
the lock lever, and press the
“Start” button.
(3) Call for service.
Paper alarm Z
(Z is the letter of the alarm)
(1) The unit has run out of packaging paper.
(2) A packaging paper jam has occurred.
(1) Replace the packaging paper
or clear the paper jam and
press the “Start” button.
Conveyor alarm
(1) The packaging paper has caused a paper
jam on the transfer conveyor.
(2) The transfer conveyor is not moving.
(1) Properly reload the packaging
paper on the transfer
conveyor that is causing a
paper jam and press the
“Start” button.
(2) Call for service.
Cutter alarm Z
(Z is the letter of the alarm)
(1) Cutter blade stop position is displaced.
(1) Return the cutter to its stop
position and press the “Start”
button.
The lower door is open
(1) The packaging mechanism has not been
properly installed. (The mechanism has
been pulled out.)
(2) The front door is open.
(1) Return the packaging
mechanism to the correct
position and press the “Start”
button.
(2) Close the front door and press
the “Start” button.
