5-5 Tool Magazine Specific Mode
The servo drive is matched with a communication absolute encoder servo motor, which can be
used for CNC servo tool magazine selection control. The use of this mode is not limited to CNC servo
turret. For example, all mechanical devices are disc-shaped and are used for rotation angle division
control, such as: CNC servo turret, CNC servo tool magazine, indexing plate, divider, rotary table,
etc... are all suitable for this mode. The English code of this mode is Pt.
Attention
Turret Mode only supports ABS type encoders (Cn030 ended with 5, A, D); when Turret
mode is used by non-ABS type encoders, the system will generate AL.040 Turret Mode
prohibits use of Non-absolute Type Encoders.
The JSDG2S series provides a dedicated turret mode, which supports a total of 12 DI/8 DO. Using a
combined signal method, it can control up to 64 tool positions. For related settings and procedures,
