Enhanced instrument security
The enhanced instrument security option provides the highest level of instrument security
. This option enables password protecting and
disabling of all communication ports and firmware upgrades. This option configures the oscilloscope hardware to easily declassify the
oscilloscope. This option must be ordered at the same time you order an instrument. You cannot order this option as a field-installable
upgrade, as the option requires hardware reconfiguration.
