*ESE
Sets and queries the bits in the Event Status Enable Register (ESER).
The ESER prevent s events from being reported to the Status Byte
Register (STB). Refer to the Status and Events chapter on page 3--1
for more information.

*ESE?
<NR1> is a value in the range from 0 t hrough 255. The binary bits of
the ESER are set according to this value.
The power-on default for ESER i s 0 i f *PSC is 1. If *PSC is 0, the
ESER maintains its value through a power cycle.
NOTE. Setting the DESER and the ESER to the same value allows
only those codes to be entered into the Event Queue and summarized
on the ESB bit (bit 5) of the Stat us Byte R egister. Use the DESE
command to set the DESER. Refer to Event Handling Sequence on
page 3--8 for more information.
*ESE 209
Sets the ESER to binary 11010001, which enables the PON, URQ,
EXE, and OPC bits.
