ructions at the bottom of the screen to Save and Exit
Calibration mode.
PixMon (SD/HD)
1. Connect a 525-270 100% Flat Field SDI signal to the SDI A input.
2. Connect an XGA to 5x BNC adapter cable to the PixMon output on the
waveform monitor.
3. Connect the “Green” video signal to the oscilloscope input. (Use an
oscilloscope with a 75 Ω input, or a 75 Ω feed through termination.)
4. Set the Oscilloscope:

5. Press the Config button.
6. Use the arrow keys or the General knob to navigate to Outputs and set the
appropriate (HD or SD) Anlg Pixmon to YPbPr.
7. Adjust the oscilloscope trigger level for a stable display.
8. Press the left arrow key twice to return to the first level of the CONFIG menu.
9. Select Utilities > Calibration. Press SEL to start calibration.
10. Navigate to the Pixmon YPbPr Gain calibration case, and press SEL to start.
11. Use the waveform monitor’s General knob to adjust the s ignal amplitude (not
including the sync pulse) to 700 mV on the oscilloscope.
12. Follow the instructions at the bottom of the screen to Save and Exit
Calibration mode.
PixMon (Composite)
1. Connect a 100 IRE Flat Field video signal to the Cmpst A input. Terminate
the loop-through in 75 Ω
2. Press Input C to select the Composite A signal.
3. Press the CONFIG button.
4. Use the arrow keys or the General knob to navigate to Outputs and set the
Composite Pixmon to On.
5. Press the left arrow key to return to the first level of the CONFIG menu.
6. Connect an XGA to 5x BNC adapter cable to the PixMon output on the
waveform monitor.
