11.2 Floor and interpretation channels audio coupling between
WCAP G3 and Plixus Engine
11.2.1 General description
It is possible to transfer the floor audio signal of Confidea G3 system to a Plixus
Engine via a simple audio cable to one of the Aux Inputs , and to send Plixus floor
signal + max 4 interpretation channels back to the G3 wcap via the Plixus datacable.
The Plixus floor + 4 interpretation channels are available on the Confidea G3 DI – CI
- 2D2I -DIV - CIV – D2I – 2D2I delegate units
A special audio routing setting is available in the wcap G3 webserver (see also G3
installation manual for more details)
The Plixus and G3 system continue to function independently , only audio exchange is
done
In Cocon audio application create input group for floor input from wcap G3 (e.g. via
XLR input)
Important Remark :
in Plixus coupling mode , the floor signal from wireless units is routed via the Plixus
Engine back to the wcap G3 (see diagram below) , so if this loop is not present the
floor signal of the wireless units can not be heard on their loudspeakers or
headphone!
