INTRODUCTION
"DANGER" INDICATES AN IMMINENTLY HAZARDOUS SITUATION
WHICH, IF NOT AVOIDED, WILL RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY. THIS SIGNAL WORD IS LIMITED TO THE MOST EXTREME
SITUATIONS.
"WARNING" INDICATES A POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS SITUATION
WHICH, IF NOT AVOIDED, COULD RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY.
"Caution" indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
may result in minor or moderate injury. It is also used to alert against unsafe
practices, and for property-damage-only situations.
One Final Note:
The best method to protect yourself and others from injury or death is to use common sense. If you are unsure
of any operation,
don't start until you are satisfied that it is safe to proceed and have discussed the situation with
your supervisor.
Thank you!
