3.4.8 Memory Interfaces
3.4.8.1 DDR4 Interface
The GP EVM has 2GB, 16bit wide DDR4 memory with operating speed of up to 1600MT/s. Micron's
MT40A1G16KD-062E:E is used. This uses two x8 8Gb Micron dies to make one x16. The DDR memory is
mounted on-board (single chip). The placement and routing of the DDR4 device will be point to point with VTT
termination. The DDR4 requires 1.2V and thus reduces power demand.
