• Serial modem plugged in locally:
• Restart Smart-Service, if failed; reboot computer.
• Unplug the power supply for at least one minute; check that
the two LEDs turn red for three seconds.
• Receiver over TCP/IP network:
• Network issues… Ping the receiver to see if it responds.
• Check COM port settings (COM Port Redirector device
manager and Smart-Vue Server settings)
• Unplug receiver power supply for at least one minute and
plug it back in.
• -997: Probe error (see diagnostic flowchart in next section)
• -998: Wireless transmission failure (see diagnostic flowchart in
next section)
• -999: General error (see diagnostic flowchart in next section)

• -997: Problem occurring between the sensor and the wireless
module.
• -998: General communication error.
• -999: General error when measurements are not transmitted or when
