Note :
• MySQL does not offer any particular user interface.
• The application and its components are installed in
C:\SmartVue\mysql\
• Check with your IT service for advanced tools or help with additional
MySQL configuration.
1.3.2 SmartService One instance of the SmartService application runs for each receiver
configured in your Smart-Vue system. This service ensures the
independent and simultaneous operation of each receiver.
• The name of the SmartService instance is: emul_<receiver_name>,
where <receiver_name> is the name you assign to a specific receiver
when configuring the Smart-Vue system.
• A system with several receivers will be running several SmartService
services, named emul_<receiver1_name>, emul_<receiver2_name>,
emul_<receiver3_name>, etc., using the names you assign to the
receivers.
• The first SmartService instance communicates on port 1091, the
second on 1092, incrementing upwards.
Note : By default, the installation wizard automatically names the
Smart-service as emul_local. This name can be changed using the
Smart-Vue Server interface.
1.3.3 Smart-Vue Server Smart-Vue Server is the central software component in the Smart-Vue
system. This application requires a PC running the following Microsoft
Windows 32 bit systems: XP Pro SP2 or later, Vista or 7 Business,
Ultimate, and Enterprise, Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
