Smart-Vue Administrator Manual Thermo Fisher Scientific
Here is a description of the settings on this tab:
User name / password Login information used by Smart-Vue
Server to connect to My SQL. The
user name and password are set by
default during installation and may
only be changed by a qualified
database administrator.
Host The IP address of the host computer running
MySQL.
TCP port The port on which the MySQL
application is listening.
Check tables Click on this button to check
database integrity and repair
tables. Tables will be repaired
automatically in case any errors
are detected.
PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR
DATABASE BEFORE USING
THIS FEATURE.
If you need to change any of the preceding information:
1. Click on the Change settings button. The button label then
changes to Apply.
2. Make the desired changes
3. Click on Apply.

Register SVuServer as a service If necessary, click on Register to
add SVuServer to the Windows
registry (done by default during
installation). This can be useful, for
