5.2 Maintenance
The Maintenance of the REVUE THOMMEN AD20 Standby Altimeter instrument must be performed
by the manufacturer representative or certified personnel.
The following is the summary of maintenance modes which are provided for maintaining the
instruments:
RS232

Mode
Allows to initialize, calibrate, configure and test the instrument via the RS232
interface and a maintenance software.
NOTE: For clear understanding and use refer to the Maintenance Software
Manual.

Mode
Allows to check and adjust the instrument when it's installed in the cockpit or
for bench test without use of Maintenance SW:
Emergency Battery test and capacity measurement
1 foot resolution at Altitude display
Lighting curve selection for 4 different aircraft
Individual Lighting curve adjustment
The Manual Maintenance Mode shall be only accessible by service staff and
may not be used for regular operation. Provisions are made to avoid
unintentional access.
