Relays
It is possible to select the mode of operation and the assignment of the output relays to the protec-
tion functions.

he operation of each output relay is determined by the normal resting condition with the relay
de-energized or energized and on the method of resetting, automatic or manual (NON LATCHED or
LATCHED).
Relays assigned to the self-test function are automatically set as normally ENERGIZED with auto-
matic reset (NO
T LATCHED); this mode of operation may not be altered.
Output relays K1...K4 may be assigned to one or more of the following functions:
- Self test
(self-test function)
- PW break Blin1 (Blin1 pilot wire breakage),
- CB fail (breaker failure),
- PW shorted (pilot wire short-circuit),
- Start I> (starting overload function 51),
- Start I>> (starting short-circuit function 50),
- Start IE> (starting ground fault function 51N first threshold),
- Start IE>> (starting ground fault function 50N second threshold),
- Trip I> (overload function 51 trip),
- Trip I>> (short-circuit function 50 trip),
- Trip IE> (ground fault function 51N first threshold trip),
- Trip IE>> (ground fault function 50N second threshold trip),
- Open 52 (breaker open command),
- Close 52 (breaker close command),
